Results of the Evaluation of the Educational Model for the Training by Labor Competences in the Students of the Engineering Division of the University Of Guanajuato
Abstract
The present article shows the results of a research carried out in the Engineering Division of the Guanajuato University and whose main purpose was to evaluate the implementation of the Educational Model focused in training students for labor competencies, as well as to determine the impact that had the curricular update of the educational programs. This with the purpose of defining the actions that must be carried out so that the teachers have the generic competences required by the University of Guanajuato. A sample of 1460 from a total of 1722 undergraduate students was selected from the division above mentioned. This sample the techniques and instruments used to collect the information, as well as the method of analysis factor, allowed the achievement of the goals set. Among the conclusions it is highlighted the importance of designing, applying and evaluating intervention programs for both students and teachers capable of modifying, in each case, the teaching-learning approaches, as well as having an educational tool that allows to develop in the student the desire for search and creativity to achieve a better understanding of the phenomena and facilitate not only learning, but the practice of knowledge.
